When I first saw this product on a online ad. I was stoked, I knew I had to have it. I ordered two one for my wife and one for me. When they arrived I literally said to the wife let’s go. We headed for liquor store first grabbed a case of landshark lager and then to my local bait shop, brought 2 dozen shrimp off to the pier I go to in New Smyrna Beach. It was about 9pm nice calm but breezy night. 1 hour in we were caught a few catfish and I believe 2 bonefish, at least it was working so far . My buzz was starting to kick in but things slowed down and mosquitoes were biting a little more then the fish as we approach midnight.while my wife pack up our belongings I was like honey I think I caught a good size catfish she ran back to the car for the flashlight as it got closer I was like baby baby it’s a baby hammerhead. Get me the net I don’t want to lose this. As I got it up on the pier I was like that odd looking hammerhead so I know it’s a shark but we googled it I landed a bonnet-head shark my first ever shark. I was so stoked who would of knew that was possible. Not biggest shark but hey my story so I can tell way I want it was a brutal fight with a monster. Sure felt that way on the chill n reel. So if you want simple to use get one I recommend everyone to have one tuck in you car because you never know. Plus you can make good memories that will last a lifetime. I can't believe how many fish I've caught with my Chill n Reel! I started taking it on my paddleboard with me, instead of my big fishing rod, and I have been so excited about the fish I've caught! A few days ago, I let out some line, and trolled it behind my board with a small rubber worm. I was paddling, my foot on my chill n reel, looked back over my shoulder, and literally saw a bass overtake the bait and bite it! I reeled him up, and took his pic and let him go! I threw it back and let the line out again. Within 100 yards, I got another, bigger bass! I love my Chill n Reel!! Of course, I chose bright orange to match my Bug AND my Board!
The chill n reel works great! I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve missed a few bites because I was getting a drink with the chill n reel that’s not a problem! 😎🎣
